CEREC is a sophisticated CAD/CAM system for the production of all-ceramic inlays, onlays, partial crowns, veneers and crowns. The CEREC procedure was developed in Zurich University and has been successfully used by dentists all over the world for more than 25 years. Since 1985 over 8 million patients have been treated using the CEREC procedure. More than 20 million ceramic restorations have been created and placed.
Wolcott Dentistry is an owner/operator of the proprietary CEREC system and has been fully trained in its use and the equipment operation.
Here’s what you get with CEREC:
A 3D measuring camera scans the tooth, creating the required image and eliminating the need for taking impressions and time delay of laboratory work.
CEREC restorations are milled from a solid block of ceramic in a few minutes at our office, making them available for immediate use and eliminating the need for temporary fillings or crowns.
With immediate placement of the CEREC restoration, the dental repair can be done in one appointment.
